The SAFETYCAR EV Automatic Fire Suppression System [PROFESSIONAL] is a fully automatic “fire extinguisher in a tube” engineered to provide 24/7 fire protection for the front electrical compartments of electric vehicles—even while they are parked and unattended.
Installed within the frunk or front service compartment, the SAFETYCAR tube protects 12V batteries, electrical wiring, fuse and relay boxes, power distribution components and electronic control modules. When exposed to heat from a fire, the heat-sensitive SAFETYCAR tube opens at the hottest point and releases SCL25™ Clean Agent directly at the source of the flames.
Front compartments can contain 12V batteries, wiring, fuse and relay boxes, power distribution components and sensitive vehicle electronics. An early-stage electrical fire in this area can escalate rapidly and spread to adjacent vehicle systems if left uncontrolled.

Unlike a portable fire extinguisher that must be retrieved and operated manually, the SAFETYCAR system is permanently installed close to the electrical components being protected. It automatically releases the extinguishing agent when exposed to fire-level temperatures.
This allows the system to respond even when the electric vehicle is parked, charging or unattended.

This releases SCL25™ Clean Agent at high pressure directly at the source of the fire, rapidly suppressing the flames without leaving powder, foam or corrosive residue behind.
The localised discharge directs the fire-extinguishing agent where it is needed most.

The SAFETYCAR EV Car Fire Extinguisher [PROFESSIONAL] uses a heat-sensitive tube manufactured from a high-performance polymer.
The tube contains SCL25™ Clean Agent under pressure. When exposed to fire and temperatures of approximately 120°C (248°F), the tube opens at the hottest point and releases the stored fire-suppression compound directly at the source of the flames.
Unlike systems that depend on separate detectors, electrical wiring or control units, the tube itself performs both the detection and discharge functions.
Clean FIRE EXTINGUISHING AGENT with cooling effect
The SAFETYCAR EV Car Fire Extinguisher [PROFESSIONAL] uses SCL25™ Clean Agent, a clean and odourless liquid that discharges as a gas.
SCL25™ rapidly suppresses fire by interrupting the chemical reaction of combustion. Its discharge also produces a cooling effect within the protected compartment, helping to reduce surrounding temperatures, limit heat transfer and protect adjacent electrical components from escalating fire damage.
The agent is effective against Class A, Class B, Class C and electrical fires, while leaving no powder, foam or damaging residue on sensitive electronics.
ENGINEERED FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES
The flexible but durable tube of the SAFETYCAR EV Car Fire Extinguisher [PROFESSIONAL] is designed to be installed around the components requiring protection within the electric vehicle’s frunk or front service compartment.
Depending on the vehicle layout, the tube may be secured:

When discharged, SCL25™ Clean Agent provides both fire-suppression and cooling action. This can help reduce surrounding temperatures, limit heat transfer and slow fire escalation within the protected front compartment.
The system is not installed inside or directly onto the vehicle’s sealed high-voltage traction battery pack. It is therefore not represented as a direct fire-suppression system for thermal runaway occurring within the main traction battery.
SAFETYCAR provides an additional layer of automatic fire protection but cannot guarantee that every fire will be prevented, completely extinguished or prevented from spreading.
